Skippering
David Gray & Associates have many years and thousands of miles of command experience in sail training vessels up to 24 metres LOA. This includes participation in most of the Tall Ships' Races over the last 12 years.
In line with UK requirements for those seeking command of Sail Training Vessels, all Associates engaged for command of Sail Training vessels are fully vetted to be in charge of juveniles at sea and are all in possession of 'Yachtmaster Ocean', 'Sea Survival', 'Long Range Radio' and 'Ships Captain's Medical' certificates.
Consultancy / Project management
Because of our wide experience in the building and refitting of sail training vessels in steel and GRP, we are able to undertake the project management of both new vessel construction and existing vessel refits for sail training organisations. This will include all necessary liaison with Lloyd's, Norske Veritas and other certifying bodies.
