David Gray and Associates are highly experienced in the command of sail and motor craft up to 140 ft./ 58m. in length. We are able to step in should a captain or owner need a relief captain at short notice in the event an emergency, a delivery or staffing crisis.
We are fully qualified with Commercial RYA Yachtmaster Ocean certificates and have gained in the Atlantic, Baltic, Mediterranean and Pacific, thousands of miles of command experience.

Sail Training vessels
In line with UK requirements for those seeking command of Sail Training Vessels, all Associates engaged for command of Sail Training vessels are fully vetted to be in charge of juveniles at sea and are all in possession of 'sea survival' certificates and 'ships captain's medical' certificates.
Contracts
We will consider medium to long term contracts as captains or skippers of the types of vessels listed above.
